StrideUp Legal
Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 16, 2026 · Last updated: July 16, 2026
Your privacy and the security of your information matter to us. This Privacy Policy explains how StrideUp ("StrideUp," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the StrideUp mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Services").
Please read this Policy carefully. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described here. Where applicable law requires consent, we will ask for it separately. You can manage certain choices through your device settings, in-app controls, or by contacting us.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information processed through the Services. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that have their own privacy policies, even if they are linked to or available through StrideUp.
2. Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on the features you use, your device settings, your region, and the permissions you choose to grant.
| Category | Examples | How we obtain it |

| Account and communications | Email address or profile details if an account feature is offered, support requests, survey responses, feedback, and other information you choose to provide. | Directly from you. |
| Reward activity | Points earned, reward eligibility, redemption requests, fulfillment status, and related identifiers. | From your activity in the Services and, where applicable, a reward fulfillment provider. |
Device permissions
Depending on the features available in your version of StrideUp, we may request access to physical activity or motion sensors, notifications, location, camera, or photos and media. We request a permission only when it is relevant to a feature. You can deny or withdraw a permission in your device settings, although the related feature may then be unavailable or work less effectively.
If you connect StrideUp to a third-party health or fitness platform, we access only the data types disclosed in the authorization screen and permitted by you. You may disconnect that service through the applicable settings.
Information we do not intend to collect
Please do not send us highly sensitive information that is unnecessary for support, such as government identification numbers, financial account credentials, or detailed medical records. StrideUp is a general wellness service and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.
3. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- to provide, operate, maintain, and personalize the Services;
- to calculate and display activity statistics, progress, goals, and any eligible rewards;
- to process reward redemptions and provide related customer support;
- to diagnose errors, monitor performance, conduct analytics, and improve features;
- to communicate with you about service updates, security, support, and material policy changes;
- to provide, measure, and improve advertising, including personalized advertising where you have consented or where otherwise permitted by law;
- to prevent fraud, abuse, cheating, security incidents, and violations of our Terms of Use;
- to comply with law, enforce our agreements, and protect the rights, safety, and property of users, StrideUp, and others; and
- for another purpose disclosed to you at the time of collection, with your consent where required.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where data protection law requires us to identify a legal basis, we rely on one or more of the following:
- Contract: processing necessary to provide the Services you request and perform our agreement with you.
- Legitimate interests: operating, securing, analyzing, and improving the Services, preventing fraud, and communicating with you, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Consent: where you grant a device permission, connect a health or fitness service, accept personalized advertising, or otherwise give consent. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation: processing necessary to comply with applicable law and valid legal requests.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, maintain legitimate business and security records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary according to the type of information, the feature involved, your choices, and legal requirements.
When information is no longer needed, we will delete or de-identify it, unless retention is required or permitted by law. Information stored in backups may remain for a limited period until those backups are overwritten.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your device and any account credentials secure.
8. International Data Transfers
StrideUp and its service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as contractual protections, adequacy decisions, or another lawful transfer mechanism.
9. Your Choices and Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- request access to or a copy of your personal information;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information;
- request deletion of personal information;
- object to or request restriction of certain processing;
- withdraw consent without affecting processing already carried out lawfully;
- receive certain information in a portable format;
- opt out of targeted or personalized advertising, or certain sharing treated as a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable law;
- appeal our decision on a privacy request where applicable; and
- complain to your local data protection authority.
You may also reset or limit your advertising identifier, manage app permissions, adjust notification settings, or disconnect linked services through your device or platform settings.
To submit a privacy request, email fifa.app@gmail.com. Please describe your request and the jurisdiction in which you live. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, subject to verification of their authority. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
California and other U.S. state disclosures
Some U.S. state laws define "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" broadly enough to include disclosures of advertising identifiers and related device or interaction data to advertising partners. Where these laws apply, you may opt out through available in-app privacy controls, device advertising settings, or by contacting us. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of users under 16 for targeted advertising.
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
Users in these regions may exercise the rights described above and may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in their place of residence, work, or the location of an alleged infringement.
10. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Where local law sets a higher minimum age for consent to data processing, that higher age applies. If you believe a child has provided personal information in violation of this section, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to investigate and delete the information.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, our practices, or applicable law. We will post the revised Policy and update the "Last updated" date. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice where required. Your continued use of the Services after an updated Policy takes effect means that the updated Policy applies to your subsequent use, to the extent permitted by law.
